Rippedear had just been hunting. He proudly carried his catch to his nest. He had been hunting for days (and other stuff, like marking his territory...). He was glad to be home in his nice, cozy, dry... He was about 3 meters from his hill. Water was everywhere! He shrugged it off. He could swim across the shallow waters and dry off in his nice, cozy, dry...
By the time he reached his hollowed out crevice, he realized that it was flooded in the inside too! He waded in the waist-deep water and placed the meat on a nature-made shelf that was luckily not submerged underwater. He peered out to find all of his herbs floating in the water. When he had swam here, he thought that they were just leaves or something like that. Now he was mad. He spent so much time searching and identifying those herbs! He swam out again, off to find a cat to take out his anger on.

Bluepaw, wondering what was outside Clan territory, had wandered out here. Seeing the other cat, he thingyed hid head to one side and went to investigate.

He smelled another cat around. "This cat is of warrior scent. This cat shall pay..."Rippedear reached the bank of the flooded area. Then, he leaped off to find this cat. "Young...warrior.. must be an apprentice..." He murmured his findings from the scent as he neared the apprentice.
